For patients who aren’t able to tolerate the thrust or twisting motion of a standard adjustment, our Flexion/Distraction Table is a great option. The Flexion/Distraction Table is a motorized table that slowly bends and extends near waist level. Without causing any impact, the table helps to decrease pressure in intervertebral discs while pulling water and nutrients back into the discs. In addition to providing a therapeutic stretch to the muscles and ligaments between and surrounding the vertebrae, this table also promotes intersegmental motion between the vertebrae.
